FALL: ROMEO AND JULIET
For ages 10-17, accepting up to 40 students.
About the show: A violent street brawl between their rival families is the prelude to Romeo’s first encounter with Juliet. Despite this, and the fact that Juliet has been promised to another man in marriage, they fall in love. But any plans for their future happiness are cruelly destroyed by renewed violence between the two families – and while the adults remain almost comically preoccupied with their own affairs, among their children a hidden tragedy begins to unfold…

Rehearsal dates: September 3-26, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm in Studio B at the East Sonora Theatre. Tech week will be September 30-October 3, from 5pm to 8pm at the Fallon House Theatre in Columbia State Historic Park.
No student may miss tech rehearsals or performances. Any missed rehearsals and performances will result in student suspension from the SRT Jr program for the remainder of the season.
Performances: October 4 at 6pm, October 5 at 12pm and 6pm, October 6 at 12pm at the Fallon House Theatre in Columbia State Historic Park.
